Bodhisattva Buddhism

My teaching descends from two lineages.

In China in the 6th century some reformers combined the original Buddhist teachings with the simple and harmonious wisdom of Taoist philosophers in order to create the tradition we call Zen today.

In India in the 7th century a monk named Shantideva kept his heart and mind open in spite of being mistreated by other monks in the temple. He blended teachings of wisdom and compassion in order to speak on what we call the Bodhisattva Path.

These are two lineage teachings that have passed down through the ages through various kinds of people and situations. I have received teachings from both of these sources and I am inspired to spread them.

My path is a synthesis of different traditions. The truth is the spiritual journey isn’t bound by tradition. It transcends such limitations.
