  • Rime Center Buddhist Community: The Rime Buddhist Center is a (non-sectarian) Center dedicated to the cultivation of wisdom and compassion. The Center is a refuge for the nurturing of inner peace, kindness, community understanding and world peace. It was founded by Lama Chuck and Chaplain Mary Stanford in 1993. The Rime Buddhist Center & Tibetan Institute of Studies has evolved to reach an ever-increasing number of people interested in the study and practice of Buddhism in and around Kansas City. The Rime Center also sponsors meditation retreats and hosts special interest group meetings related to the teaching and practice of Buddhism in everyday life.

  • Lama Lena Teachings: Lama Lena (Yeshe Kaytup) is a teacher of Direct Mind Perception Meditation (Dzogchen & Mahamudra) and a lineage holder of several traditions. Her informal style is precise and direct and she is revered by students around the world for her exceptional ability to share profound teachings in a clear, poetic, and humorous way.

  • Younge Drodul Ling: Younge Drodul Ling is a global community of Dharma practitioners devoted to preserving an authentic Rime practice lineage. We offer a profound and practical path based on the teachings of Younge Khachab Rinpoche, a true Dzogchen master and Rime scholar. Our supportive international practice communities are committed to making these transformative instructions available and accessible in a modern day context. Through Rinpoche’s heartfelt guidance, clarification, and support, our sincere vision is to awaken to our true nature- our innate Buddha heart- so that we may embody wisdom, generosity, kindness, and compassion in our communities and truly be of benefit for others.

  • Dharma Winds Zen Sangha: Dharma Winds Zen Sangha is a Reformed Chan Buddhist Community, composed of different Chan Hermitages. DWZS shares the ancient teachings of HuiNeng and LinJi and the modern teachings of master HsuYun.
